Hello, I'm Joni Soebarkah. I've been a consultant at the
Ministry of Manpower for seven years, and I love writing.
I first started writing when I was nine years old. My teacher
had given us an assignment to write a story about anything we wanted. I decided
to write about how my parents met. I remember crying as I wrote because it made
me so happy to think about how much they loved each other.
My mom still has that story in her desk drawer; she says it's
one of her favorite things that I've ever written.
That story led to many more stories, and eventually led me to
where I am now: writing professionally!
